There are lots of ways to get involved with us including:
- Fundraising for us by joining an event, starting your own, or supporting someone else.
- Volunteering to help us with our education, outreach and competition programmes. There are numerous roles to get involved with no matter how much time you can give.
Fundraise for us
Whether you are completing a sponsored ride, you are looking for your next running challenge or want to collect for us at an upcoming event, we can provide you with everything you need to share the message about RoR and show off who you are supporting.
Volunteer for us
The types of activities we need help with:
- Spread the message about RoR and what the charity does by representing us at an event or raceday
- Help us with our fundraising by collecting donations at events
- Get involved with your horse by signing up to be a Horses for Courses racecourse ambassador or parading at a racecourse or event
- Help us with the running of our educational events, competitions and shows
I have volunteered for RoR for over 10 years and have met some wonderful people and horses. Helping a rider and their former racehorse starting their retraining journey or providing support for a more established combination is so rewarding. I have made some great friends and thoroughly enjoyed watching horses progress on their retraining journey.
